In high school and not interested in dating
Yours don’t have to be the same as your friends’, nor do they have to match up to expectations formed by movies or books. There are a lot of fairy tales about high school, but here is the reality as I have learned it.They’re going through a physical and emotional change in their lives, and it’s a challenge. But the truth is that the many idiosyncrasies that come with being a teen boy are the same reasons why getting emotionally involved usually ends up with a broken heart for you.; high school boyfriends and girlfriends aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. When you describe your relationship in terms of which bases you’ve hit, you’re just feeding into a competitive group mindset.Think about it: You either “win” or you strike out.Friends with benefits come in many different forms. It can be hooking up with an ex or taking a relationship that was never sexual and changing boundaries to allow for sex in certain circumstances.
I know that I’ve written it before, but unless you’re looking for marriage, you probably shouldn’t be looking for love!
My friends and I talked nonstop about cute boys or girls, and everyone couldn’t wait to be in a serious relationship. I believed that high school meant love, relationships and all the physical elements that went along with those things.
And as far as would have me believe, every teenager in high school was going at it like rabbits, or at least trying to.
